Notice: There are disputes in the quality between Hot Wings and Daron models. The quality is identical. Though not verified, it is strongly believed both are manufactured by the same party for both distributors. The only distinct difference is the color of the runway with the Hot Wings being black as if asphalt and the Daron being gray, as if concrete.

One of the most difficult things for a student to accomplish is visualize what is happening with the airplane during a given maneuver. Providing a visual demonstration on the ground is very important in helping the student understand what is happening during the actual maneuver in the airplane. The Hot Wings models assist in that goal.

This small and compact model can assist Flight Instructors in helping their students visualize the dynamics of flight. Control surface deflections can be used to visually correlate the effects of control inputs and the resulting aircraft response. Flight attitudes difficult to describe can be easily demonstrated and discussed using this model. The mental pictures are then easily recalled in the cockpit and applied to the flight maneuvers at hand. In addition, pilot & flight instructor applicants can use these models to demonstrate to FAA Examiners their knowledge of aircraft control and performance.
