ProFlight CFI Flyer - Aircraft Training Aid

One of the most difficult things for a student to accomplish is visualize what is happening with the airplane during a given maneuver. Providing a visual demonstration on the ground is very important in helping the student understand what is happening during the actual maneuver in the airplane. The CFI-Flyer will assist in that goal.

This newer trainer, unlike past versions, can be configured for both single and multiengine with separate wing assemblies. The single engine wing shows a diagram depicting angle-of-attack while the multiengine wing assembly depicts a fuel line diagram for cross-flow and fuel feed to each engine. Each flight control surface is labeled.

The CFI-Flyer is a flight control training model that flight instructors can use to help their students visualize the dynamics of flight. Control surface deflections can be used to visually correlate the effects of control inputs and the resulting aircraft response. Concepts difficult to describe can be easily demonstrated and discussed using the CFI-Flyer. The mental pictures are then easily recalled in the cockpit and applied to the flight maneuvers at hand. In addition, pilot and flight instructor applicants can use these models to demonstrate to FAA Examiners their knowledge of aircraft control and performance.

The model is made of lightweight plastic and has a 16.5" wingspan. All control surfaces are attached with flexible metallic tape for ease of maneuvering and can be assembled for use within minutes.
